March’s Featured Content

March 11, 2008 – 2:58 pm

…is now up and I suggest you check them out!

This month features the amazing photography skills of Jennifer Maria Cordoba, as well as the neat illustrations of Mirth Merchant.

I’m booked until August with featured artists, but I still need photographers for issues after May!

Please send a sample of your work and a short bio to editor@debrismagazine.com.

Issue #3 is out!

January 5, 2008 – 6:36 pm

So please go check it out!

As I said in my editor’s note, I’ve been receiving a ton of poetry submissions, which is a good thing, but that I would also like to see more short stories, reviews and travel writing.

I’d hate to cut these sections out, but I’m going to have to if I don’t get new material for the Spring issue, which is only months away.

Thanks to everyone who contributed with this issue and my web developer who continues to be patient with me. :)

Issue #2 is out!

October 8, 2007 – 12:45 pm

I just wanted to let everyone know that the second issue of Debris is out and that I’d like to thank everyone who has submitted work; it’s really been a pleasure to read and look at all of it.

You may have noticed that the site has undergone a few changes, but it’s still streamlined and easy to use, at least I think so. If anyone has any suggestions for further improving the site or the magazine, please let me know. Suggestions are always welcome.

And lastly, I’m hoping that I can raise enough money to do a print anthology in the near future, which is why I’ve added advertising options and the tip jar. Any contributions would be welcome and advertising is really cheap! Check out the About page for more details.

Instead of rambling on, I’ll just say that I hope you enjoy the issue and that I hope everyone has a nice fall!

P.s. Keep those submissions coming and be sure to check back monthly for new featured artists/photographers!
