Killing Reason

i violate the trees with my eyes’
appropriation, for the uncovering
of coveted aletheia is robbery
and rape, rapacious alimentary
metaphors ingesting the truth we
digest in that meaty murder,
disconcealing rather than un-
concealment, revealing ravages
savage man, “we” is this other,
nothing’s lover and eating
well the truths we tell our
selves, just dead flies on library
shelves
